My two archetypal heroes are Riddick from Riddick Trilogy and Yang from The Warrior’s Way. They both are ruthless killers, exceptionally strong, possess powerful mental energy and they both had terrible upbringing. Though raised up in fear, anger, hardships and cruelty, they are both concerned for their comrades and go through whatever for them. Their survival instinct is way too strong and can escape under any kind of traps or situations.
But Yang is a silent and lonely warrior who aimed to be the greatest killer of his time. He had to kill all he knew and all he loved to pursue that. And he had to train under extremely cold weather for several years since young age when his father was killed in front of him while working together in the rice field.
Our first fearful and awesome Hero!!!!
Riddick (our journey hero) was born on Furya. Before Riddick's birth, a Necromonger officer named 
Zhylaw Lord Marshall (destroyer), a new empror of the united universe, consulted an Elemental seer (Sage), 
But Riddick got tremendous powers and abilities. His eyes are white, ever shining and gave him night vision. However he has to wear goggles to protect them from bright light. Aside from helping Riddick unlock his eyes, Shirah (the nurturing mother) helped him discovered Wrath of the Furyans, an energy wave from his body that can destroy everything around him. Aside from the supernatural powers, Riddick’s got super physical abilities. He is an exceptional fighter, faster, stronger, tougher and skilled. He possesses immense stamina and faster healing ability with strong and cruel personality yet with acute senses, advanced thinking and wise in making strategies. Though he is violent and a ruthless killer, he cares and sacrifices for his comrades. As he goes on with his life, Riddick began to realize what he should do in life. His life became meaningful and exciting. He met Kyra (persona) or (Anima feminine side of Riddick ) along the way and protected her. 
Riddick found the innocent himself in the girl and went through trials for her. But with Kyra’s death in the end, Riddick became the suffering Hero who has to rule the new Universe for killing Zhylaw according to Necromongers’ rule (you get what you kill!)
Another whole new level Assassin
In 19th century Asia, Yang (journey hero) is a warrior and member of the Sad Flutes clan, the cruelest assassins in the world. His personal goal to become the greatest swordsman in the entire world is accomplished when he kills the former greatest swordsman and leader of the enemy clan. Both clans swore to fight until every single member of the opposing clan was dead. Yang has killed every member, except a baby girl he comes upon, spares and decides to watch over. This act makes Yang a sworn enemy of his own clan, and is not safe in his homof his belongings and travelled to a dusty old town where a carnival used to be the main attraction in Western where a fellow rouge warrior lived. He brought only the baby (the persona of Yang) and the katana. 
But when he got there he found that his man had passed away leaving his laundry shop no one to run. He took over the business, raised a small garden and began to make friends there.
There, Lynne, a lady from the town taught him how to run laundry shop. In return she asked to teach her swordsmanship. Reluctant at first, but taught her how to use twin short swords after learning how her family was killed by the outlaw colonel, Destroyer, Evil and shadow part of the Mang!!! She was a brave woman and then Nurturing and motivatoion.
As Yang helped Lynne to kill the colonel, the sad flute clan discovered him. A fierce battle was occurred among the town’s people, the army of the colonel and the sad flute ninjas. Lynne took her revenge, Yang was able to kill Saddest Flute with a duel and set off his journey alone leaving Lynne and April, the baby. Since he is wanted by his clan and he had to stay away from the ones he loves.
